Billboard On Bankruptcy Information

by Robert

I grabbed my keys and purse and ran into my car. After I turned on the ignition I held up my slip of paper with directions to my best friend’s new apartment. It took about twenty minutes to arrive. I walked through the building and saw overhead a sign for bankruptcy. I was very confused and wondered if I had read the directions wrong. I was about to turn and leave, but in my peripheral I saw my father waiting in line to talk to someone behind the desk. I just couldn’t believe it! After ten years of not talking to Tom I randomly see him—and only twenty minutes away from my house. So I called his attention and when I tried speaking to him he got all shy and embarrassed. I suppose he didn’t want me catching him by a bankruptcy federation. I really didn’t care about that. It was like my hate for him after leaving my mom simply vanished the moment I saw his familiar face. When he told me that he has been having some financial issues I immediately told him that I would help. After we got to know one another a little better I called up my friend to apologize for not coming and immediately detected from her intonation that she set me up. I don’t know how she knew, but she wanted me to meet my dad again and help him out.
